Jen Shah’s Prison Sentence Seemingly Reduced by One Year, Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Star to Serve 66 Months

Jen Shah, the reality TV star who rose to fame on Bravo’s Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, has had her prison sentence seemingly reduced by one year. According to the Federal Bureau of Prisons’ inmate database, Shah’s release date is now listed as August 30, 2028, which reduces her original 78-month sentence to 66 months.

The news comes after Shah’s sentencing hearing in November 2021, during which she was ordered to serve 78 months in prison after pleading guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and one count of conspiracy to commit money laundering. Shah was accused of running a telemarketing scheme that defrauded hundreds of people, many of whom were elderly, out of millions of dollars.

Shah, 49, surrendered herself to authorities on February 17, and requested to serve her sentence at the Federal Prison Camp in Bryan, Texas. It is unclear at this time if her request has been granted.

Shah’s legal troubles have made headlines since her arrest in March 2021. Her time on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City was cut short due to the charges against her, and her co-stars have been vocal about their shock and disappointment at the allegations. Shah has maintained her innocence, but ultimately decided to plead guilty to the charges against her.
